  1. WHO report on global tobacco epidemic 2023 released: The new WHO report on tobacco control highlights global progress, including the implementation of empower measures on August 2, 2023. Sex change and transgender marriage ban in Russia: Russian president while Vladimir Putin has signed new legislation on 24th of July 2023, that significantly affects the LGBTQ+  community in Russia. Medical inventions aimed at changing a persons, sex and changing sex on official documents or public records are strictly prohibited.  
  4. Conservative popular party will suspend election: The conservative popular party (PP) of Spain won  elections on 24th of July 2023. PP fell shot of its hopes of scoring a much higher victory and forcing the removal of socialist Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.   5. Argentina, signed LOI with HAL: Defense ministry of Argentina has signed a letter of intent(LoI) With Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) On 21st of July 2023. It aimed is to procure light and medium utility helicopters for its armed forces. This LOI Signifies a commitment to productive collaboration between HAL and the Ministry of Defense of Republic of Argentina.
  6. 76th world health assembly held: The 76th world health assembly, a significant global health Event, held from May 21- 30th 2023 Geneva, Switzerland. This annual assembly serves as a platform from represent representatives from all members. States of the world health organisation to come together and address expressing health issues that affect people worldwide. This year assembly results around the theme: WHO at 75: Saving lives, driving health for all.
  7. The young university rankings 2023 released: The times higher education, young university ranking 2023 was published on 3 July 2023 on the official website of  Times, higher education. Australia’s young universities have outperformed Germany for the first time in five years to become the worlds, highest scoring budding institutions on average. Among Indian universities, Mahatma Gandhi university, Kerala has achieved its ranking among the top 10 universities in the list.
  8. Japan adopted new sanctions on Russia: Japan has approved additional sanctions against Russia over its war on Ukraine on On 30 May 2023. Japan, Japan, freezing the assets of dozens of individuals and Groups and banning exports to Russian military Related organisation.
  9. Uganda’s president signed into law Tough anti- gay legislation with death penalty: Uganda president has signed into law anti-gay Legislation supported by many in the east African country on 29 May 2023. The version of the bill signed by President Yoweri Museveni Doesn’t criminalise those who identify as LGBTQ+.  New law still prescribe the death penalty for ‘aggravated homosexuality’. 
  10. Greece, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis won National Election: On may 22, 2023. Mitsotakis’s party 146 seats, five seats, short of the 151 required for a majority. His centre right new democracy party were heading for almost 41% of the vote.
